Choosing where to study is an important decision, which is why we invite prospective students to visit the School of Herbal Medicine at our annual Open Day. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore our facilities, meet our tutors, and discover what it’s really like to train as a Medical Herbalist.
Throughout the day, you’ll hear a series of engaging talks covering subjects including Herbal Pharmacy, Botany, Materia Medica, and the history and vision of the School. You’ll also have the chance to see examples of the study materials used throughout the course, giving you a genuine insight into the academic and practical training our students receive.
Our admissions team and tutors are available throughout the day to answer your questions about the course structure, modules, study commitments, entry requirements, and tuition fees. Whether you’re ready to apply or simply exploring your options, we’re always happy to offer honest advice and guidance.
For us, Open Days are just as rewarding. We enjoy meeting people who share a passion for herbal medicine and introducing them to the welcoming community we’ve built at the School.
To round off the day, everyone is invited to join our tutors on a guided medicinal herb walk. Together we’ll identify plants growing in the local area, discuss their traditional and modern medicinal uses, and demonstrate how botanical knowledge forms the foundation of professional herbal medicine.
If you’re considering studying herbal medicine, there’s no better way to discover whether our course is right for you than by experiencing the School for yourself. We look forward to welcoming you to our next Open Day.
